A refined watchmaking technique

This dial is enhanced with diamonds set in 18 ct gold settings, adding a touch of elegance and brilliance. The sunray finish creates delicate light reflections, a signature feature seen across many Oyster Perpetual dials.

The effect is achieved through expert brushing techniques that form fine grooves radiating outward from the center of the dial. These engravings allow light to diffuse evenly, producing a subtle glow that shifts naturally with wrist movement.

Once the sunray finish is complete, the aubergine colour is carefully applied using advanced methods such as Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) or electroplating. A final protective layer of varnish is then added, giving the dial its smooth texture, depth, and refined finish.
