The same construction principle was used on the case back, which was also tightly fastened using specialized Rolex tools to ensure protection and durability.

Over time, the fluting evolved from a technical necessity into a refined aesthetic signature. Today, it is recognized as a mark of distinction and elegance, often crafted in gold on models like the Lady-Datejust, enhancing its luxurious appearance.

White Dial

Pure Finish with Refined Craftsmanship

The white dial reflects the precision and elegance of Rolex watchmaking. Created using a high-quality lacquer process, it offers a smooth, flawless surface with a clean and timeless appearance.

This technique involves carefully applying six ultra-thin layers of lacquer onto a brass base plate, building depth and consistency with each coat. A transparent varnish is then added to enhance brightness, richness, and visual depth.

Once dried, the surface is finely polished to achieve a refined, luminous finish. The dial is then prepared for detailed printing and the application of hour markers, completing its elegant and minimalist design.
