Aubergine Dial

A refined watchmaking technique

This dial features a large Roman numeral VI set with 11 diamonds, adding a refined touch of brilliance. The sunray finish creates delicate light reflections, a signature aesthetic found across many Oyster Perpetual dials.

It is achieved through precise brushing techniques that form fine grooves radiating outward from the centre of the dial. These engravings diffuse light evenly, producing a soft glow that subtly shifts with wrist movement.

Once the sunray texture is complete, the dial colour is applied using advanced methods such as Physical Vapour Deposition or electroplating. A final protective layer of varnish enhances depth, richness, and a polished finish.
