Chocolate Dial

A refined watchmaking technique

This dial is enhanced with diamonds set in 18 ct gold, adding a luxurious and elegant touch. Its sunray finish creates subtle and sophisticated light reflections, a signature detail found in many Oyster Perpetual dials.

The effect is achieved through precise brushing techniques that form fine grooves radiating outward from the centre of the dial. These lines allow light to spread evenly across the surface, producing a soft, refined glow that changes beautifully with wrist movement.

Once the sunray texture is complete, the dial colour is applied using advanced techniques such as Physical Vapour Deposition or electroplating. A final protective layer of varnish is then added, giving the dial its depth, richness, and polished finish.
