A Watchmaking Technique

The mint green dial reflects refined watchmaking craftsmanship, enhanced by the signature sunray finish found across the Oyster Perpetual collection. This technique creates delicate light reflections that give the dial depth, freshness, and a distinctive luminous character.

It is achieved through masterful brushing techniques that form fine grooves radiating outward from the centre of the dial, resulting in a precisely structured surface.

As light moves across these engravings, it is evenly diffused, producing a subtle glow that shifts naturally with wrist movement. Once the sunray finish is complete, the mint green colour is applied using advanced Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) or electroplating methods.

A final protective layer of varnish enhances richness, clarity, and durability, completing the dial with a smooth and polished finish.
