The bright black dial showcases Rolex’s signature sunray finish, a refined technique used across the Oyster Perpetual collection. It is created through precise brushing methods that form fine grooves radiating outward from the center of the dial.

These delicate lines interact with light to produce a smooth, even reflection, creating a subtle glow that changes with wrist movement.

Once the sunray texture is complete, the dial color is applied using advanced processes such as Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) or electroplating. A final protective layer of varnish is then added, giving the dial its polished, durable, and elegant finish.
