The slate dial features Rolex’s signature sunray finish, a refined watchmaking technique used across the Oyster Perpetual collection. It is created through precise brushing methods that form fine grooves radiating outward from the center of the dial.

Once the sunray texture is complete, the dial color is applied using advanced processes such as Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) or electroplating. A final protective layer of varnish is then added, ensuring a smooth, polished, and durable finish.
