This design mirrored the fluted case back, which was also securely fastened to the case using specialized Rolex tools to maintain a tight seal. Over time, this technical element evolved into a distinctive aesthetic feature.

Today, the fluted bezel stands as a true Rolex signature. Crafted in gold on the Datejust 41, it adds a refined touch of luxury while preserving the brand’s timeless identity.

Green Ombré Dial

A Unique Colour Gradient

The green ombré dial features a refined lacquer finish that delivers a striking depth of colour and a smooth gradient effect. This design marks a notable evolution, as the entire dial is coated in lacquer, a first for an ombré style since its return to the collection in 2019.

The process begins with the application of green lacquer onto the base plate. A gradient effect is then carefully created by spraying black lacquer in controlled concentric movements, resulting in a seamless transition of tone across the dial.

To enhance clarity and contrast, the white inscriptions stand out sharply against the darkened edge, while Chromalight hour markers ensure excellent legibility and a modern luminous finish.
