Slate Dial

A Refined Watchmaking Technique

The slate dial features an elegant sunray finish that creates soft, sophisticated light reflections across its surface. This effect is achieved through precise brushing techniques that form fine grooves radiating outward from the center of the dial.

As light interacts with these engravings, it is evenly diffused, producing a subtle glow that shifts with wrist movement and enhances the dial’s depth and visual refinement.

Once the sunray finish is complete, the dial colour is applied using advanced methods such as Physical Vapour Deposition or electroplating. A final protective layer of varnish is then added, ensuring durability while giving the dial its smooth, polished finish.
