This elegant dial features hour markers in 18 ct gold, set with 32 diamonds, while the Roman numerals VI and IX are crafted in 18 ct gold and adorned with 24 diamonds. The Day-Date 36 is presented with a dial made from eisenkiesel, a deep brown decorative quartz used by Rolex for the first time in 2021.

Eisenkiesel is an iron-oxide quartz with delicate natural veining. Each dial begins as a raw stone disc, carefully selected for its color, pattern, and structure to meet Rolex’s exacting aesthetic standards. The result is a dial with a unique character, adding personality and elegance to every watch.
