The white dial showcases the versatility of lacquer, offering both rich color and a smooth, luminous finish. Its creation involves applying six successive layers of lacquer onto a brass base, carefully building depth and intensity.

A colorless varnish is then added to enhance brilliance, followed by precise polishing to magnify the dial’s radiance. Once complete, the dial is ready for pad printing and the application of its indices and appliqués, resulting in a refined and elegant finish that exemplifies Rolex craftsmanship.
