The selected gemstones are then entrusted to skilled gem-setters, who carefully place each stone by hand, one by one. Every placement is executed with extreme precision, within hundredths of a millimetre, ensuring perfect alignment and balance.

Rolex produces its own 18 ct gold alloys in an exclusive in-house foundry, ensuring complete control over quality, purity, and precision. By carefully adjusting the proportions of metals such as silver, copper, platinum, and palladium, different variations of 18 ct gold are created, including yellow, pink, and white gold.

Only the purest raw materials are selected, and each alloy is rigorously tested in an advanced in-house laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This ensures exceptional consistency and quality before the material is shaped into components.
