The brass base of the dial receives six layers of lacquer to create a smooth, uniform surface. It is then varnished and polished to reveal its full depth and brilliance. Finally, inscriptions are pad printed, and the hour markers and crown are riveted by hand, resulting in a flawless dial ready to crown the movement during final assembly.
