The chocolate dial reflects the elegance and precision of Rolex craftsmanship. It is often enhanced with diamonds set in 18 ct gold, along with a Roman numeral IX crafted in 18 ct gold and set with diamonds, adding a luxurious and distinctive touch.

The dial features a sunray finish that creates soft, elegant reflections of light across its surface. This effect is achieved through expert brushing techniques that form fine grooves radiating outward from the center of the dial.

As light moves across these lines, it produces a subtle glow that shifts gently with the movement of the wrist. Once the sunray pattern is complete, the chocolate tone is applied using advanced processes such as Physical Vapour Deposition or electroplating.

A final protective layer of varnish is then added, giving the dial a smooth, rich, and polished appearance.
